Symposium: The architect’s roles in the Circular Economy and Circular Society
Architects are increasingly involved in circular assignments, but what exactly is expected of them? They each try to contribute to circularity in their own way. Circular construction is not yet fully developed and there are questions about the potentials and limitations of circular economy and degrowth, regarding energy, materials and economy.
These and several other questions will be discussed in the online symposium 'The architect’s roles in the Circular Economy and Circular Society', organised by the NWO research project 'Circularcity' in collaboration with the Circular Built Environment (CBE) Hub of the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment.
