Webinar results PVE Heat transition vision Utrecht

News - 02 April 2020 - Webredactie

The Municipality of Utrecht aims to have 40.000 homes and other buildings in the city gas-free by 2030. The municipality is already working on 18.000 homes, so there are still 22.00 homes to be made gas-free. To come to a plan and include residents, the municipality had a Participative Value Evaluation (PVE) carried out, in which 617 residents participated. Coming Tuesday 7 April, from 3.30 pm – 5 pm, we will present the results of the PWE that has been carried out for the heat transition vision of the Municipality of Utrecht. This is done in the form of a webinar, via Zoom.

One of the things that strikes out is that the age of the participants is relatively low. As a result, we have reached a wider middle group of inhabitants, which provides a sharper picture. We now know more about their preferences and considerations regarding the gas transition. Curious about the rest of the results? Those will be presented during the webinar. The program consist of a plenary part, in which the results of the PVE will be presented, including a Q&A. After this plenary part, there will be two rounds of break-out sessions. The break-out sessions deal with the following themes: 1) PWE as a product; 2) how did officials experience the PWE process and the outcomes; 3) questions about PWEs that are currently carried out or will be in the near future; 4) questions about analytical methods.

You can register yourself via the link below and choose a break-out session.
