Harry Bouwman and Mark de Reuver winners of Emerald Literati Awards

Harry Bouwman and Mark de Reuver (ICT) won two Emerald Literati Awards for Outstanding Papers (2019). Both awarded papers stem from research done within the EU-project ENVISION on SMEs and (digital) business model innovation.

The paper `From strategic goals to business model innovation paths: an exploratory study’ won the award from the Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development. The paper explores, by means of case studies, why and how SMEs conduct business model innovation.

The other paper `The Impact of Digitalization on Business Models’, has won the award from the journal Digital Policy, Regulation and Governance. It focuses on how digital technologies force SMEs to experiment with their business models, based on a large-scale pan-European survey.

The ENVISION project resulted in a portal with tools, cases and business community.
