Student project opportunity: modelling dike failure using DIANA Finite element software

DIANA FEA is participating the benchmark of the 15th International ICOLD-BW from 9th–11th September 2019 in Milano.The theme we are participating in is “C. Failure and pre-failure of a dyke on soft subsoil”.
This is an excellent opportunity for students in hydraulic engineering. You will prepare the models,and carry out the analysis using the DIANA Finite Element software. With support and advice by the experts of DIANA FEA BV, you will present and exchange your experiences and the latest developments related to the design, performance and monitoring of dykes with other participants in the benchmark workshop.
We are looking for motivated students who are up for a challenge and experience this great event. The selected candidate will be sponsored by DIANA to participate to this prestigious event. You will attend the benchmark and fly to Milano to present results at the ICOLD-BW in Milano. DIANA FEA will support you and pay for the flight/hotel costs.
