BK alumna Hanneke Stenfert wins Marina van Damme Grant
Not one, but two TU Delft alumni received the Marina van Damme Grant 2019. Andrea Mangel Raventos and Hanneke Stenfert were both awarded € 9.000,- to achieve their goals. BK alumna Stenfert will use the grant to contribute to the co-creative discipline within urban development and architecture.
“Co-creation is more than just listening to residents; it requires professional skills to effectively and meaningfully shape co-creative processes,” says BK alumna Hanneke Stenfert. “Co-creation is not widespread in urban development and architecture. I applied for this grant to contribute to the co-creative discipline.” With the support of the grant, Stenfert aims to conduct three international case studies. The Marina van Damme Grant is organised annually by the TU Delft University Fund. This years’ jury was unable to select one winner, as the plans of both candidates were so different, but equally good. This resulted in the unique situation with two winners.
