Inaugural address Neelke Doorn- ‘Values in water’

Prof. dr. mr. ir. Neelke Doorn will hold her inaugural address in acceptance of the chair ‘Ethics of water engineering’ on Friday 16 November.

This is the first chair specifically aimed at ethical questions in water management and water technology. The title of the inaugural address is ‘Values in water’. During her address prof. Doorn will present her plans for the chair, while demonstrating how her background as a civil engineer and philosopher is combined in a topical research agenda on the cutting edge of water and ethics.

The inaugural address starts at 15:00 in the auditorium of the Aula at TU Delft. After the ceremony, there will be opportunity to congratulate Neelke Doorn. You are most welcome to attend!
