NWO kent zestien onlangs gepromoveerde onderzoekers een Rubicon-financiering toe. Binnen faculteit 3mE is Davood Farhadi Machekposhti, onderzoeker bij de afdeling Precision and Microsystems Engineering, de gelukkige ontvanger van de Rubicon.
TU Delft brengt elektrificatie van de chemische industrie in stroomversnelling
De wetenschappers van het e-Refinery initiatief, vorig jaar gelanceerd door de Technische Universiteit Delft, werken aan een radicale aanpassing van de nu nog op fossiele grondstoffen gebaseerde chemische industrie naar een op elektriciteit gebaseerde duurzame productie van chemicaliën en brandstoffen.
TU Delft accelerating the electrification of the chemical industry
Scientists from the e-Refinery initiative, launched last year by Delft University of Technology, are working on a radical adjustment of the chemical industry, currently still based on fossil raw materials, towards electricity-based sustainable production of chemicals and fuels.
Veni Tom Burdyny
The Dutch Research Council (NWO) has awarded a Veni grant worth up to 250,000 euros to twelve highly promising young scientists from TU Delft. Tom Burdyny is one of the e-Refinery scientists who has been awarded a Veni grant.
