Deborah Nas

Deborah Nas is professor of "Strategic design for technology-based innovation" at Industrial Design Engineering at TU Delft. She operates at the interface of psychology, technology and business and specializes in strategic issues concerning the application of new technologies. She is a popular speaker at events and during her inspiring presentations she provides insightful insights into a world in which technological innovation is turning markets completely upside down. As an independent innovation specialist, she helps organizations large and small with innovation. Deborah is also a supervisory director at Hardt Hyperloop, a member of the advisory board of Bright River and a director at the Cre8 foundation.

Len Starnes

Digital healthcare consultant

Len Starnes is an independent digital healthcare consultant providing strategic and operational support to government health authorities, medical societies, the biopharma and medtech industries, doctors’ social networks, management consultants, start-ups, and VCs.

Len has over 20 years’ experience of directing digital strategies within the life sciences industry where he held responsibilities at both European and global level.

He has consistently specialized in exploring the healthcare potential of emergent digital channels and platforms: since 2013 the metamorphosis of medical conferences to physical/virtual hybrid formats, and most recently, the impact of doctors’ social networks on coronavirus knowledge dissemination.

He speaks regularly (or used to speak regularly) at digital conferences in the USA, Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia Pacific region, and holds degrees in business administration, solid-state physics, and physics from Boston University, Manchester University, and University College London, respectively.
