Kuldeep Kavta
Postdoc Researcher
Dr. Kuldeep Kavta is a postdoc researcher in the Transport and Planning department at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). He is currently working on 'SINERGI' project, where he is responsible for developing discrete choice models that explain and predict the behaviour of riders (couriers) and customers in the last mile food delivery business.
Before joining TU Delft, Dr. Kavta held a position as a Research Associate in Newcastle University's Future Mobility group. There, he examined the adoption patterns of shared electric vehicles across Western European cities.
He has a PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT KGP), where his doctoral research focused on understanding the impacts of combined travel demand management measures (congestion pricing and public bike sharing system) on mode choice decisions.
