SCRIPTS: Demand Responsive PT

SCRIPTS brings together transport, behaviour and management scientists with transport planners and operators to study how public transportation can be made more flexible and responsive to demand, for example by using mobile ICT platforms. The project develops methods to forecast demand for flexible services, design their operations, identify market potential for their introduction and evaluate their implications.

SCRIPTS is funded by the Smart Urban Regions of the Future (SURF) programme of NWO and runs from 2016 to 2020. The consortium involves partners from industry, (local and regional) government and academia.
