Profile

Zhaojiang Huang is a PhD candidate at Delft University of Technology. He obtained his master degree from Zhejiang University and bachelor degree from South China University of Technology. He started his research at the section of Geo-Engineering in 2021. His research interests are focused on computational modelling of gas-induced fractures in heterogeneous porous media.

 

Research

1. Develop a coupled pneumatic-hydro-mechanical model of gas migration in heterogeneous porous media.
2. Assess the impacts of gas transport on the integrity and performance of the geological repository of radioactive waste.
