How does Giuseppe Terragni’s Il Danteum project shape its sequential narrative (inferno, purgatorio, dark forest, paradiso) through both space and time?
Method
A physical model of the project is ‘un-coiled’ as a way to present a spatial sequence lineally.
Conclusion
The ‘uncoiled’ section create a series of 'stills,' which explain the rhythm of transitions through colonnaded halls, dark low passages, stairs, and light-wells.
