The Department of Architectural Engineering and Technology (AE+T) is one of the four pillars of the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at TU Delft, alongside Architecture, Urbanism, and Management of the Built Environment. AE+T works at the intersection of architecture, building sciences, and cutting-edge technology.
With an engineering and technology-driven approach, the department tackles some of society's most pressing challenges head-on—think climate adaptation, the energy transition, heritage preservation, sustainable renovations, circularity, digitalization, and creating healthier environments.
