TU Delft Professor Geert Leus Gives Lecture as part of his Dr Ram Kumar Distinguished Visiting Chair at the Indian Institute of Science
Prof Geert Leus will sojourn in India in December 2024 and April 2025. During his visiting Professorship, he will perform collaborative research, provide a number seminars, as well as mentor one or more IISc students.
He will also give a lecture on December 19 2024 on Compressive and Sparse Array Processing.
Compressive and sparse arrays can reduce the hardware cost and power consumption and
are hence attractive for applications such as massive multi-input multi-output communications,
automotive radar, and acoustic imaging. In this talk, Prof. Leus will establish the basic model for compressive and sparse array processing and discuss how to perform digital beamforming and direction of arrival (DoA) estimation for such arrays. More information is provided in the attached flyer.
