Ilse Bakker joined ImPhys as CIFIC research technician

Ilse Bakker is the ‘new’ research technician and she is working on the CIFIC project in which Erasmus MC and the TU Delft collaborate to research Correlative Light and Electron Microscopy (CLEM).

In this project she will mainly work on the sample preparation for light (fluorescence) microscopy and electron microscopy techniques, and Ilse will eventually try to combine the methods into one method for both techniques. The sample preparation for fluorescence microscopy she performs at Erasmus MC and the sample preparation for electron microscopy she will perform at the TU Delft.
