Anushka Kore joined ImPhys as MSc student

Anushka successfully completed her B.E. degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Mumbai in 2022. After a year of working in the biomedical industry as a Product Specialist, she began her M.Sc. program in Biomedical Engineering specializing in Medical Physics at Technische Universiteit Delft (TU Delft). As part of her M.Sc. degree, Anushka chose to intern at the Biomedical Imaging Group Rotterdam (BIGR), Erasmus MC and is embedded in IGIT and the ICAI Stroke Lab.

Currently, she is working on her M.Sc. thesis with external supervision from Erasmus MC. Her project focuses on the application of deep learning in acute ischemic stroke therapy and involves developing an algorithm for automatic detection of vessel occlusions on fluoroscopy imaging. Frans Vos is her supervisor.
