Recent Innovative Contribution in CAPE Award for Prof. Tony Kiss
Prof. Tony Kiss has received the Recent Innovative Contribution in CAPE Award from the Computer Aided Process Engineering – Working Party (CAPE-WP) of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE). The prestigious CAPE award for a recent innovative contribution (RIC) is given in recognition of an outstanding innovative contribution to recent advances in CAPE ideas, methods and/or tools.
In this respect, Prof. Kiss had several innovative contributions, with a broad scope and academic significance, covering a wide application range and solving problems of industrial importance. The novel methods and tools proposed go significantly beyond the state of the art, have a large range of applicability, and lead to original solutions that are more sustainable and profitable, being of tremendous value to the chemical industry. The award ceremony - followed by a plenary lecture given by Prof. Kiss – took place on 21st of June 2023 at the European Symposium of Computer Aided Process Engineering (ESCAPE-33) conference organized in Athens (Greece).
