Nathan Geerts joined ImPhys as MSc student

Nathan Geerts is a second year MSc Applied Physics student from Antwerp, Belgium. He is interested in AI and its medical applications.

The project he will be working on is about the computer simulation of cardiac magnetic resonance images from an MRI physics model. In addition, he will investigate how well these in silico images can be used to train state-of-the-art AI models in a later part of the project.

Nathan will be doing this project under the supervision of PhD Yidong Zhao and responsible supervisor Qian Tao.
