Ahmed B. Ayoub joined ImPhys as a Postdoc

Ahmed B. Ayoub joined ImPhys per February 1st as postdoctoral researcher. He will work on super-resolution microscopy under supervision of Prof. Sjoerd Stallinga. 

Ahmed received his BS degree in electrical engineering from Alexandria University in Egypt in 2013, his MS degree in physics from the American University in Cairo in 2017. In 2022, he received his PhD degree in electrical engineering from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland. His Ph.D. was involved with 3D experimental imaging and 3D refractive index reconstruction of biological samples using inverse models and deep learning algorithms.
