Removal of automatic e-mail forwarding option
In December 2022, the implementation of a change for employees took place. This change involved the discontinuation of a service where e-mails sent to the @tudelft.nl mail address were automatically forwarded to an external (private) e-mail address outside of TU Delft. Starting from July 4, this service will also be terminated for students.
Consequently, any e-mails directed to an @student.tudelft.nl address will only be delivered to the respective student's TU Delft mailbox. Due to the significant impact, this change will have on student communication, the ICT Directorate, in collaboration with ESA Communication, has launched a campaign to inform students through various channels. ESA has deemed it beneficial to notify all communication colleagues about this change.
