DPTI becomes Pro2Tech with Prof. Johan Padding as new director
By the end of 2021, the Delft Process Technology Institute reached the end of its second period. We are happy to inform you that on 18th January 2022 we received formal approval from the TU Delft Executive Board to start a third period. In close consultation with our research cluster coordinators, we decided to use the occasion to change the name of our institute to:
TU Delft Process & Product Technology Institute
or Pro2Tech in short. Including “Product” in our name is important because process technologists are indispensable when developing complex products such as novel pharmaceutics and semiconductor devices.
Simultaneously, directorship of the institute will be taken over by Johan Padding. Previous director Ruud van Ommen will remain an active member of the Pro2Tech management team.
