Monitoring crop health across the Netherlands

Imagine growers can monitor the health and development of their crops via satellite images so they can forecast yields, assess vulnerability to drought and estimate carbon uptake by the soil.

TU Delft researchers Vineet Kumar and Susan Steele-Dunne developed SandBoxNL in collaboration with European Space Agency - ESA. SandBoxNL is a toolset that uses Copernicus Sentinel data for agricultural monitoring in the Netherlands. Read more...
