Alina will apply AI-technology to ultrasound imaging to unravel fundamental challenges in quantitative bioimaging applications. Her supervisor is David Maresca.
She comes from Zaporizhzhya, Ukraine and completed her Bachelor’s degree at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. There she studied Applied Mathematics and Physics. For her Master’s, she came to the Netherlands and fell in love with Delft. She graduated from TU Delft with the Biomedical Engineering degree. Her Master thesis project was devoted to the topic of novel biomaterials for Orthopaedic purposes. Her PhD goal would be to apply AI-technology to ultrasound imaging to unravel fundamental challenges in quantitative bioimaging applications
