As of July 1st Andrea Ramirez Ramirez will be Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Greenhouse Gas Control. This is the most important peer reviewed journal in the field of carbon capture utilization and storage. Ramirez Ramirez is no stranger to the journal. She has been associate editor since 2015 and was asked to take up the new position because of her extensive work on systems analysis and her ties with the community. She knows the ins and outs of the journal which will help in facing the challenges in keeping and further increasing the relevance and visibility of the work in this field of study.
