DEWIS Webinar Symposium 2020

This year’s theme of the DEWIS Webinar Symposium 2020 was gender differences in scientific disciplines. On 1 December we welcomed Pascale Fung, Professor at the Department of Electronic & Computer Engineering and Department of Computer Science & Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science & Technology (HKUST), who talked about gender roles in the AI World. And we were happy to have Hanneke Takkenberg, Professor of Clinical Decision Making in Cardio-Thoracic Interventions at the department of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery at Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam. She discussed sex and gender in heart interventions.
