CEG Keynote webinar series #3
Now that we all work (mostly) from home, the strategy team of our faculty has thought of a way to get together online, to give each other our collegial supports and positive energy and have scientific events. Therefore, the strategy team has come up with the CEG Keynote webinar series, preferably once in a month, to cover topics of wide interest to our faculty staff and students.
Third keynote on Urbanisation & Mobility
The third CEG Keynote webinar is scheduled for Monday 25 May 2020 between 17:00-18:00. The keynote speaker is professor Hani S. Mahmassani from Northwestern University in the United Stated. It’s entitled:
Automated, Connected, Electric, Shared (ACES) -- Shaping Future Urban Mobility
About Hani S. Mahmassani
Hani S. Mahmassani is a professor in transportation and director of the Northwestern University Transportation Center (NUTC) at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Sciences of the Northwestern University, United States. Hani does research in Network Modeling and Algorithms, Traffic Science and Operations Research, Travel Behavior and Econometrics, and Freight and Logistics Systems. Current projects include analysis, modeling and simulation methodologies for connected and autonomous vehicle systems, multimodal network models, and predictive analytics for real-time transportation and logistics systems.
