New MOOC in series: Electric Cars: Technology

Professional Certificate Program : Online course Electric Cars (Ecarsx)

After the success of the MOOC Electric Cars: Introduction with 7.600 enthusiastic participants from 149 different countries, TU Delft and Dutch-INCERT are launching a Professional Certificate Program. This program includes four Electric Cars MOOCs: Introduction, Technology, Business and Policy.

Enrollment for the second course in this ecarsX series, Electric Cars: Technology, is now open. In this course we will be diving further into the technology aspects of electric cars.

• What is the working principle of an electric car and its components like motor and batteries ? 
  

• How does an EV charger work and whatare the newest advances in charging infrastructure and smart grids?
  

• And what are the future trends in electric car design?

 These and more questions will be answered in this free online course, which also features two case studies with charging infrastructure company ABB and World Solar Challenge winner Nuon Solar Team.
