Suzanne Schut
In my work, I focus on how assessment (systems) influence and affect students and teachers when aiming to use assessment for meaningful and worthwhile learning.
Background
Suzanne Schut is Assistant Professor Educational Sciences at TNW, with a special interest in student agency, assessment, and adaptive expertise. In her work, she focusses on “how assessment (systems) influence and affect students and teachers when aiming to use assessment for meaningful and worthwhile learning.”
As part of IDEE
As a member of the ‘ Students taking responsibility for their learning process’ team, she perceives a strong connection between the IDEE theme and her own research and educational interests. One of the ways in which Suzanne contributes to IDEE is by exchanging experiences with educational practices and discussing ideas and concepts together, aiming to learn from and with each other. Suzanne sees IDEE as an opportunity to connect her own expertise in educational science with the educational practice and practitioners of TU Delft.
