Why am I not able to choose Brightspace groups but instead need to upload a .CSV file?
When the functionality of choosing Brightspace groups was introduced in Buddycheck, this did not retroactively update all courses that were already using Buddycheck via .CSV files. If your course already had an active Buddycheck connection before July 26th 2023, you will not be able to use the Sync with Brightspace groups functionality in this course.
When you receive a new course for the next academic year Buddycheck will automatically be using the Sync with Brightspace groups functionality. If you have an ongoing course and wish to switch to this new functionality, you will need to request a new course to be made via Teaching & Learning Support.
