D. (Dewant) Katare
Profile
Dewant Katare is a PhD Candidate with the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management in the Engineering Systems and Services Department. Previously, he received his Master of Science degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Purdue School of Engineering & Technology.
His areas of interest are: Autonomous Vehicle, Embedded Systems, Edge AI, Deep Learning, IoT, Wireless Networks.
Research
The PhD research project is part of EU Marie Curie ITN project of APROPOS (2020-2024) and is about sustainable AI computing for cyber-physical infrastructures. This project aims to tackle the challenges of future embedded and high-performance computing energy efficiency by using disruptive methodologies. The research is supervised by Dr. Aaron Ding and promoted by Prof. dr. ir. Marijn Janssen.
