Profiel

Yiyun Wang is a postdoctoral researcher in the Automated Driving & Simulation (ADaS) Lab and the Traffic and Transportation Safety (TTS) Lab at TU Delft. Her research focuses broadly on traffic safety, currently with a particular emphasis on understanding how emerging automated vehicle (AV) technologies impact safety outcomes in traffic environments of the future.

Onderzoeksinteresses

In exploring this field, Yiyun’s research interests span various topics, including crash data analysis, crash risk modeling, human driver behavior analysis, and safety evaluation of both automated vehicles and mixed traffic systems. She is currently contributing to the i4Driving (Integrated 4D driver modelling under uncertainty) project, which aims to establish a credible and realistic human road safety baseline for virtual assessment of Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) systems. Previously, shewas involved in the SAMEN (Safe and Efficient Operation of Automated and Human-Driven Vehicles in Mixed Traffic) project, where she conducted in-depth investigations of human and automated vehicle interactions in mixed traffic using real-world datasets.
