S. (Saba) Golchehr PhD

Saba Golchehr is a design researcher who explores data-driven, human-centred design in Architecture and Urbanism. She completed her PhD in Architecture at the Royal College of Art (UK) in 2019, where she focused on how novel sources of digital data on human experiences in the built environment could inform sustainable urban development. In her current position as Postdoctoral Fellow at TU Delft, Department of Architecture she explores the use of data in co-creative design, design thinking in Architecture and design fiction through speculative narratives. Saba holds a Master’s degree in Urbanism and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from TU Delft.

Best project
As part of the 2015 UBI Summer School in Oulu, Finland, I participated in the 'Design Fictions for Data Geographies' workshop hosted by Mark Shepard (New York State University), where I collaborated on a fictional narrative through a video production titled 'Lost Connection', which was awarded best project.
