Biografie
Rashika is a PhD student in the Space Systems Engineering department of TU Delft since April 2022. Her research is on the topic "
Optical free-space communications for formation flying". Earlier, she did her bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering from PEC University of Technology, India, in 2017 and Master's in Space Systems Engineering from ISAE-SUPAERO, Toulouse, France, in 2019.
Before starting the PhD, Rashika worked as a Research Engineer for 2.5 years at the Paris Observatory on the development of a Python-based open-source software (DOCKS) for computing space mission profiles. She also developed MBSE models for a CubeSat project scheduled for launch in 2025. Her research interests are scientific nanosatellites and space communications.
