N. (Nan) Bai

Profiel

Nan Bai currently works both as Assistant Professor in section Heritage & Architecture, Department Architectural Engineering and Technology, Faculty Architecture and Built Environment at Delft University and Technology, and as Postdoc Research Fellow in Public Administration and Policy Group at Wageningen University & Research. He obtained his PhD (cum laude) at the UNESCO Chair of Heritage and Values of TU Delft. He also participated in the HERILAND Project in the European Union as a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Early Stage Researcher. With a multi-disciplinary background of architecture, psychology, heritage studies, big data analysis, and applied artificial intelligence, Nan always has a broad interest in the application of computational social science in the historic urban settings with heritage values and attributes, especially the perceptions reflected from the posting behavior on social media.
