NWO Veni Fellowship - "Under the Lens" (VI.Veni.202.225)

Biografie

I am an observational astrophysicist with a keen interest in data processing and new detector technologies. I received  MPhys from the University of St Andrews, Scotland (2013), and my PhD from the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy and the Ludwig-Maximillian University in Munich, Germany (2017). My PhD thesis was on gravitational lensing and new methods for processing radio astronomy data.
Between 2017 and 2021, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Leiden Observatory, studying physical conditions in distant, intensely star-forming galaxies. Since the spring of 2021, I hold a joint position at TU Delft and Leiden Observatory as a Veni Fellow, funded by the NWO.
