Muhammad Ali Siddiqi
About
Muhammad Ali Siddiqi is pursuing postdoctoral research at the Computer Engineering Laboratory, Quantum and Computer Engineering (QCE) department of the Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands.
Dr. Siddiqi received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2009 and the (joint) M.Sc. degree in embedded computing systems from Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway, and University of Southampton, UK, in 2012. In 2021, he received the Ph.D. degree from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands, after the culmination of his research on the security and privacy aspects of IMDs.
From 2012 to 2017, he worked as a Design Engineer at Silicon Labs Norway on the ultra-low-power MCU design. His research interest includes the development of security protocols and computing architectures for heavily resource-constrained embedded systems, such as next-generation neural implants. His research also focuses on hardware-based brain simulations using emerging device technologies such as Resistive Random Access Memory (RRAM) etc.
