Biografie
Likhitha is a Ph.D. student at the Delft University of Technology, and her research focuses on developing a multi-scale, adaptive-mesh CFD model to simulate wave-structure interactions. She has a MS in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering (Purdue University, 2020) and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering (R V College of Engineering, 2018). As a graduate researcher, she developed a direct numerical simulation code for Homogenous Shear Turbulence. Her research interests include high fidelity numerical modeling of wind turbines, turbulence modeling, and fluid-structure interactions.
Apart from her penchant for numerical modeling, she also enjoys sketching, stargazing, and travelling during her free time.
