Inès is an architect-urbanist with a decade of experience designing civic buildings and research institutes in the UK, US, Luxembourg, and France. She obtained her Part III Qualification from Cardiff University, where she also completed a Postgraduate Diploma, researching strict zoning mechanisms in relation to sustainable urban development, after completing her Master of Architecture specialising in Urban Design, proposing a re-imagining of "Oxford train stations as a vibrant gate of arrival". This design proposed a new transit hub and station area, crafting a data-informed enhancement of pedestrian movements and playfulness in the area, while implementing multi-modal mobility solutions adaptable to varying levels of population density.

Throughout her career, she has honed her expertise in analysing building morphology and use in a multi-scalar fashion to craft integrated design solutions, earning the projects she lead awards such as RICS and RIBA national awards, and features in the AJ and the RIBA Journals. Combining her dual qualifications in urban and architectural design, alongside her technique of design analytics, she is now pursuing a PhD in the section of Building Knowledge at TU Delft, in the chair of complex projects. Her research investigates the relationship between porosity and movement in train stations to enable their time-based design and make them resilient to uncertainty and obsolescence over time.

Drawing on her experience as a design lead and researcher, Inès also lectures at the Chair of Complex Projects, where she shares her knowledge of professional practice, with a focus on integrating knowledge across multi-stakeholder teams.
