Ir. I.M. (Isabelle) van Schilt
Profiel
Her PhD research focuses on supply chain visibility with sparse data. This research explores how to reconstruct and optimize supply chains to become more proactive and identify robust interventions given many deep uncertainties and missing data. This project is performed in collaboration with the Dutch National Police and supply chain companies.
Biografie
Isabelle is a PhD candidate at the Policy Analysis section of the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management. She studied her bachelor at this faculty with a specialization in Transportation and Logistics and a minor in applied mathematics. Isabelle continued with the master programme Engineering and Policy Analysis at TU Delft. She represented her fellow master students during a board year at Study Association Curius. During her master, she conducted research on last-mile delivery at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the Center of Transportation and Logistics. For her thesis, she worked on creating an optimization model for the flight schedule at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Research interest are simulation, optimization, data analysis, decision making under deep uncertainty in the field of supply chain, transportation and logistics.
