Biografie
Aashna is a Ph.D. researcher at the Sanitary Engineering section of the faculty of Civil Engineering and GeoSciences. Her research is focused on developing serious games to support decision making for agriculture and urban water management. She has an interdisciplinary academic background spanning engineering and social sciences. She graduated with a master’s (cum laude) in Engineering and Policy Analysis from TU Delft in 2019. Prior to this, she completed her bachelor’s in Electronics and Instrumentation engineering from BITS Pilani, India and pursued the Young India Fellowship in liberal arts from Ashoka University, India.
Projecten
WATERAGRI project aims to develop and enhance water retention and nutrient retention solutions to enable agricultural production that can sustain growing populations and withstand the pressures of climate change. As part of this project, a serious game will be developed to engage relevant stakeholders and enable them to explore complex trade-offs involved in selecting the proposed solutions.
