A TRL is a measure to indicate the matureness of a developing technology. When an innovative idea is discovered it is often not directly suitable for application. Usually such novel idea is subjected to further experimentation, testing and prototyping before it can be implemented. The image below shows how to read TRL’s to categorise the innovative ideas.

Why?
Work in the safety domain is mainly based on teamwork within complex, stress full situations.
How?
We developed and tested several game scenarios in a highly realistic 3D virtual environment in close cooperation with the target group.
When?
The tangible results of the research have been implemented in the police organization. The scientific findings will be used to develop a generalizable framework for the development of simulation games in the coming years.
