News rss Open menu 28 February 2020 The future of energy in Súdwest-Fryslân The municipality of Súdwest-Fryslân has different visions about the role of energy in the future. The municipality wishes to involve citizens’ advise in their energy plans. To achieve this end, the municipality decided to work together with the TU Delft and conduct a Participatory Value Evaluation (PVE). PVE is a suitable method for evaluating citizens’ preferences in the energy transition and can be used by the municipality to get more insights. Read more 20 February 2020 On March 16 we will present the results of the PVE Heat Transition Utrecht At the end of 2019, 550 residents of Utrecht had the opportunity to give advice on the Thermal Energy Transition Vision of the municipality of Utrecht through participating in a Participatory Value Evaluation (PVE). This is the first PVE that has been executed for the energy transition. Read more 14 February 2020 Start thesis circle PVE Coming Monday, February 17, the first thesis circle of Participatory Value Evaluation (PVE) will start. Within this thesis circle, master students of the faculties Technology, Policy & Management and Civil Engineering will discuss their thesis work. Even though the topics of their theses differ, they have one thing in common: they are all conducting research about the PVE as an evaluation tool.
