D. (Daniël) van den Berg MSc
Profile
Biography
Daniël started his studies in his hometown of Leiden with the Bachelor study Molecular Science and Technology. After this, he joined the master program of Chemical Engineering (process track) in Delft. In 2018, he obtained his degree after completing his master thesis on indirect CO2 methanation in the Large-Scale Energy Storage group under Prof. dr. ir. Wiebren de Jong. After a six-month industrial research internship in Japan, Daniël started working in the electrochemical conversion group in September 2019. His main research focus is on bimetallic CO2 reduction electrodes, (high-throughput) electrode screening and rapid online product quantification.
