For his Honours and Masters theses he worked on the theory of quantum error correction (QEC) with the Gottesman-Kitaev-Preskill code, investigating both their implementation in superconducting systems and the mathematical formalism used to describe these codes. He has just joined the Terhal group in 2022 to begin his PhD where he is looking forward to continuing work on QEC and the theory of superconducting devices.
