Biography
Kateryna Marynets is Assistant Professor (UD1, tenured) at Delft University of Technology.
Her expertise lies primarily in the qualitative analysis of boundary value problems arising in geophysics and computational methods for fractional differential equations and their systems.
She obtained her PhD in Mathematics from Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University (Ukraine) with the expertise in differential equations. In particular, she worked on the solvability analysis and approximation of solutions of essentially nonlinear boundary value problems for ordinary differential systems.
In addition, she has BSc and MSc degree (Magna Cum Laude) in Applied Mathematics from Uzhhorod National University (Ukraine). Her Master thesis was focused on parametrization of solutions of the nonlinear boundary value problems and improvement of the numerical-analytic techniques for their analytic representation.
