M. (Malvika) Dixit
Profile
Malvika completed her Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, India in 2011, and her MSc in Transport from Imperial College London in 2014. Following that, she worked in Dubai, UAE for three years as a transport planner working on various traffic, transport and parking studies for the region. She started her PhD in 2018 with the Smart Public Transport Lab at the Transport and Planning (T&P) department, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences, Delft University of Technology.
Research
Malvika’s research focuses on public transport service quality, route choice and accessibility measurement using automated data sources for multi-modal public transport networks. The developed methodology will be applied to study the impact of the North-South metro line in Amsterdam.
