Last month, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) presented the Special Report on the Ocean and Cryosphere in a Changing Climate (SROCC). The report cited 34 papers co-authored by GRS researchers.

Our Elyta Widyaningrum won the best paper award, the Shunji Murai award, in ACRS (Asian Conference on Remote Sensing) 2019 in Daejeon, South Korea.

The smartphone application GADIP3, developed by the team "O ThiSaVRoS" including our Dimitrios Psychas, won the the 1st prize award in the ESA Galileo App Competition 2018/19, organized and run by the European Space Agency, in collaboration with the European GNSS Agency and the European Commission with the support of Google.

Peter Teunissen, professor in Mathematical Geodesy and Positioning at Delft University of Technology was honored with the career-highlight Johannes Kepler Award, presented by the Institute of Navigation (ION)’s satellite division.
