When & how to apply to an MSc programme with an international degree

The application period for the MSc programmes 2012-2014 opens on 15 September 2011 and closes on 1 April 2012*. This is the last date on which your complete hard copy application may arrive at TU Delft's central International Office, and not the last date on which you may mail your application.

To start an MSc application, fill in the online application and pay the non-refundable application fee of €50. Then send hard copies of the application documents to TU Delft’s International Office. The University can only start processing your application once it has received these hard copy documents. The admissions decision will be issued 8 weeks after we have confirmed receipt of your complete hard copy application. We will inform you concerning the admissions decision by e-mail.

Please note that you may only apply for one MSc programme and that incomplete applications and applications submitted by e-mail will not be processed

Scholarship? Apply before 1 November 2011
Most scholarships, e.g. the full Tu Delft Excellence Scholarships, require you to have been admitted by the university before starting your scholarship application. To get proof of admission in time, TU Delft should receive your complete hard copy application before 1 November 2011. TU Delft's MSc programme specific scholarships may however still be awarded to students applying after 1 November. Application fee
All applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of € 50. Two methods of payment are possible:

1. by credit card or
2. by bank transfer

Were you admitted last year and wish to reapply?
If you were admitted last year and wish to reapply: please fill in the online application using your existing login name and password and provide us with a printed copy of the (on-line) 'Summary application' page. We have retained your hard copy application documents on file; you do not need to send them again. Please note that students who re-apply for the 2012 – 2014 MSc programme need to pay the application fee and provide us with a document that proves payment of the application fee.

* The application period for the MSc programme 2013-2015 opens in September 2012.

Spring semester for a limited number of MSc programmes
