Application and procedure

Our on-line application form for the MSc programmes 2016-2018 is available between 1 October 2016 and 1 April 2017. Once the application deadline has passed, it will no longer be possible to apply.

To start an MSc application, fill in and submit the online application (Link works only in Internet Explorer (windows) or Safari (Mac). After submitting your on line application, you will receive an e-mail with the link to the upload portal of TU Delft. This portal allows you to upload the required documents

Please note that you may apply for one MSc programme only and that incomplete applications and applications submitted by mail or e-mail will not be processed.

For all MSc programmes a rolling admissions policy applies. This means that complete applications will be reviewed upon receipt. If you meet our admissions requirements, you will be considered for the programme until the admission capacity has been reached.

You will be notified of the outcome of your application within six weeks following the receipt of your completed application (this could increase to eight or ten weeks close to the application deadlines). Please note that we aim for a variety of nationalities in our programmes in order to maintain an international class room.

Application fee
All applicants are required to pay an application fee of € 100 *. Two methods of payment are possible:

  1. by credit card or
  2. by bank transfer

* The application fee is only refundable to students who will actually start their MSc studies in Delft.

Were you admitted last year and wish to reapply?
If you wish to be considered for the MSc programme 2016-2018 you need to re-apply. You can do this by filling in and submitting the 2016-2018 on-line application form. To log into the on-line application, you need to use your existing log-in name and password. Please note that you need to create a new account in the upload portal and must upload a complete set of application documents (including proof of payment of the 2016-2018 application fee). You need to use a different e mail account than last year. This year all MSc programmes require a minimum score on each section of the English language test . For Aerospace Engineering the GRE test is added as an extra requirement. You need to meet the new requirements.
