Delft Innovation Award 2011The Executive Board initiated the Delft Innovation Award to showcase the smart inventions developed at the University and to reward the involved scientists. The innovations emphasize the importance of the design and engineering disciplines within the University. Scientific inventions form the link between pure science and significant innovations which are applicable for economical and public use. This realizing of knowledge assets is called 'valorisation'. They are of crucial importance for Delft University of Technology as well as local and global economy. Read more
